Heartbreaking news strikes former Boston Bruins head coach Don Cherry: It was just confirmed

Former Boston Bruins head coach, Don Cherry shared some heartbreaking news last night as he announced the end of his Grapevine podcast.
Don Cherry has always been a big name in the hockey community, and was known for speaking his mind, which fans loved.
He was known to be controversial, which ended up resulting him in being in headlines on a regular basis, ultimately leading to his firing from Hockey Night in Canada back in 2019.
After this, Cherry and his son ended up starting their own podcast where they would share their thoughts on the NHL.
Cherry is calling it a career
Last night, at the end of his 313th episode on the podcast, Cherry announced that he is calling it a career from the podcast.
Well, Tim, this is our last show.,
Cherry's son, Tim ended up revealing that over 6.5 million people ended up downloading their podcast over the years, and to say that it was a success is an understatement.
How many podcasts have we done? This is our 313th, we've been listened to all around the world, and it's just amazing how many different countries, you know, people download and listen to it. We've had 6.5 million downloads, which is pretty good.
The 91-year-old ended up offering his regards as he said goodbye:

After being fired in 2019, Cherry revealed that he was happy to start up his own podcast.
Evidently, I said something that upset Sportsnet, and they canned me, and now I'm unemployed except for doing this beautiful podcast. Just two little words just seemed to set everybody off. I lived in a vicious world and I lasted 38 years. If I've got to go, I'm glad I'm going out on my shield.
