The NHL draft is just three days away, and there is a chance we could see the Boston Bruins trade Jeremy Swayman to move up in the draft.
Since the off-season began, there have been rumors that the Bruins are looking to move up in the draft.
Now they have a pretty good opportunity to do so, and get a top 5 pick.
Swayman traded for a top 5 pick?
According to Scott Wheeler, a writer for The Athletic, the Boston Bruins are looking to move up in the NHL draft from their 7th overall pick:
More draft week intel from my mock:
Sounds like Bruins also have interest in moving up.
My sense is the Flyers and Bruins at 6-7 like the same three players: Martin, O'Brien and Hagens. Everyone keeps telling me those three won't get past 6-7. And yet, there appear to be eight players for seven picks.
Wheeler revealed that they are looking for a starting goaltender, and with all the rumors involving Jeremy Swayman, this could be a good opportunity for Sweeney.
The Mammoth have been the most active team/the team I've heard about the most since before the Combine.
Sounds like everything is on the table, including No. 4. Have heard they're chasing a starting goalie.
Think they're the earliest O'Brien/Martin are in the mix.
