Jake DeBrusk has officially left the Boston Bruins joined the Canucks
It was announced that Jake DeBrusk has officially left the Boston Bruins organization.
Jake DeBrusk and the Bruins came to a stall during contract talks, and there was a lot of rumours suggesting that DeBrusk was going to walk in free agency.
It was just announced that Jake DeBrusk agreed to terms with the Vancouver Canucks and signed a 7-year contract with a $5.5 million AAV.
Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Jake DeBrusk on a 7-year contract with a $5.5M AAV.
Don Sweeney made it clear they took an aggressive approach with DeBrusk and clearly he wasn't a big fan of that.
DeBrusk is going to be hard to replace and it will be interesting to see who Don Sweeney replaces him with.
Thanks for everything DeBrusk!
