The Boston Bruins received positive news all around on the injury news front today, including veteran Nick Foligno.
Foligno was injured against the Flames on February 28th, and has been out with a lower-body injury since.
Update From the Coach
Foligno returned to practice this morning, wearing a non-contact sweater alongside Taylor Hall. Afterwards, head coach Jim Montgomery shared an update, according to Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now:
''It's just great to have him out there. He just brings so much energy and positive energy to the group always. You could see he was just excited to be back out there,'' said Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery. ''It's good that he's starting to make progress toward being an option for us, which is good.''
The 34-year-old was enjoying an amazing bounce back season with the Bruins, registering 10 goals and 16 assists in 60 games.
