As the Bruins are in Florida for game three of their opening-round series, head coach Jim Montgomery took an opportunity to take a humorous jab at the Panthers' ''fan'' base.
How Many Bruins Fans Will Be In Attendance?
As we all know, Bruins fans travel well and loud cheers can be heard for Boston during many away games. Knowing this, Montgomery thinks the playoffs won't be any different when asked about his expectations of the Florida crowd.
''Bruins fans are gonna be loud.''
The Panthers are famously known for having fans who only show up when things are going well, most of the time, that is.
Montgomery is probably more applauding how far and wide Bruins fans are than dissing the Panthers. Either way, it's hilarious and the things you love to see in the postseason.
