A major turn of events has surfaced in a completed trade between the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche, and it's surprising.
During the NHL Trade Deadline that took place in March, the Boston Bruins were, needless to say, busy.
They departed and acquired several players, and one completed trade that erupted during the event has now taken a massive turn.
However, new insight has surfaced by an anonymous NHL executive on RG.org, revealing that Mittelstadt was not Boston's target.
Their target was in fact Zellers and the second-round pick.

The Boston Bruins organization now linked to departing with their recently acquired forward, Casey Mittelstadt, this offseason
Additionally, this anonymous executive has also unveiled that a potential trade is set to erupt, and Boston has been linked to departing with Mittelstadt this offseason.
«I don't know how many rumors he's been in, but I've been hearing [Casey] Mittelstadt could be on the move again since before the Bruins season even ended.»
