Over the span of their careers, Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak have spent a lot of time on the ice together. Now Pastrnak has revealed his true feelings towards having to face Brad Marchand as an opponent.

For the longest time, the Bruins forwards were led by both Pastrnak and Brad Marchand, but a trade last season ended up breaking up the duo.
The Boston Bruins ended up trading Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers during the NHL trade deadline.
Not long after the trade happened, the two teams ended up playing each other, but Marchand was not in the lineup due to an injury.
Now, the two won't have to wait long to face each other in the new season, and Pastrnak spoke on facing him for the first time.

Pastrnak speaks on facing Brad Marchand

Pastrnak recently spoke with The Hockey News and was asked about what's going to happen in their first game against each other.
"Of course, I wrote him congratulations on the Cup. We played a big part of our careers together and our wives are also great friends. The bond is there, so of course it was difficult to see him leave. I'm not happy about the Stanley Cup for Florida, but I am happy for Marchand. Then when he signed a big contract, I kind of let him know that I would make the first game against us a little difficult for him. I am looking forward to it. We always had tough battles together, even in practise."
To no ones surprise, Pastrnak wasn't the biggest fan of Brad Marchand's recent Stanley Cup victory, mainly because it was the Florida Panthers that ended up winning it, but he is happy to see Marchand succeed.
This game will be a must watch for all Boston Bruins fans, and hockey fans in general.
