Major development has surfaced in the Boston Bruins trading a top-defenseman after latest altercation
We now know who will be the first Boston Bruin out the door this off-season following multiple worrisome incidents with one specific defenseman, Nikita Zadorov.
The Boston Bruins have been at cross-roads with their re-build, with the continuation of underwhelming play and losses, the team is at the point of being absent from any NHL postseason contention yet again, and it seems as though the organization may have made another huge mistake.
On July 1st, 2024, the Bruins organization acquired a 29-year old defenseman on a six-year contract, yet the team has suddenly endured some conflict with the individual, which has unfortunately been something that seemingly comes along with this player.
Nikita Zadorov has had a pretty worrying past within his NHL career thus far, and recently before the signing of this defenseman, Zadorov encountered a
suspension.
The incident happened last year in February, when the 29-year old laid a brutal hit to the Detroit Red Wings'
Lucas Raymond that resulted in Zadorov enduring a two-game suspension due to his actions.
This should have screamed 'red flag' to the Boston Bruins organization, yet the team still continued to acquire him.
Nikita Zadorov creating issues within the Boston Bruins locker-room
Zadorov was involved in some conflict this past week following him seemingly disregarding the Boston Bruins' goaltender,
Jeremy Swayman, after an altercation broke when Swayman was defending his teammate.
Following this postgame interview, fans and reporters began to be frustrated by Zadorov comments, which then lead the defenseman to apologize for his words.
Once the air was cleared, we expected Zadorov to get back into the game and try to forget about the incident as a whole, however, for the team's next game, the defenseman claimed he couldn't make it due to personal reasons.
A conquincidence? We will never know.
Another suspension suggested to be on the rise for Nikita Zadorov
Now, Saturday March 29, the defenseman has made his way back on the ice against the Detroit Red Wings, fans optimistic that altercations may possibly quiet down with this defenseman.
However, we had another thing coming.
In the second period of this game, Zadorov laid a brutal hit on the Red Wings'
Jonatan Berggren, this concluded in a power play for Detroit which ultimately lead to a goal for the Wings.
We can unfortunately expect a suspension on the rise for this defenseman.
However, with all said and done, Zadorov has made it easy for the Boston Bruins organization to decide who they want out the door next.
