A major suspension in the NHL has just changed everything for a former Boston Bruins forward.

This past week we have witnessed several head shots and illegal checks in the NHL, and the most recent one has just set up a big opportunity for this former Boston Bruins forward.
A hit by New Jersey Devils forward Paul Cotter injured New York Islanders' defenseman Adam Pelech, and will ultimately result in a suspension.
This announcement by the NHL will lead to a former Bruins' potential revenge on the organization, have a look:
"Paul Cotter will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday.

The New Jersey Devils forward is facing discipline for an illegal check to the head against New York Islanders defenseman Adam Pelech on Sunday.

The incident occurred at 6:00 of the second period in the Devils' 1-0 loss at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Pelech left the game following the hit, for which Cotter was assessed a match penalty.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review."
Said the NHL in a statement
Due to Cotter being suspended, awaiting confirmation by the NHL, former Boston Bruins forward Marc McLaughlin will oddly be called up just one night before facing his former team.
While this seasons ending has not included much of a show for Bruins fans, an extra layer of anticipation will be on display as they face a former face on Tuesday, for a 7:00 pm puck drop against the New Jersey Devils.
