GM Don Sweeney will need more talent on the roster. Here are three players who could add some talent to the Boston Bruins roster, which is sorely lacking.

The Boston Bruins need help. The team is out of the hunt for the playoffs for the first time since 2016, and now we see the fallout, as Joe Sacco hasn't been able to salvage the season.
During July, GM Don Sweeney will have to tap into free agency to find more top-six talent, which the team sorely lacks at the moment.
With a team that is 32-29-9, and 8th in the Atlantic Division, they'll need help on offense more than any zone of the ice.
Here are three NHL players who could add skill and scoring touch to the lineup.
Sam Bennett will be due a raise on his next contract, and could end up a cap casualty for the Panthers, who are defending their Stanley Cup championship this year.
There's speculation that Bennett's next deal could be upwards of $7 million AAV. This could be an advantage for the Bruins as they could regain a gritty, two-way forward like Bennett after they lost Marchand to the same team.
Bennett could also find himself in a 2C role for the Bruins, as depth down the center is sorely needed.
Donato was a former Boston Bruins draft pick selected 56th overall in the 2nd round of the 2014 NHL Draft. He's found himself bouncing around the league and has had a career year in Chicago. He's scored 31 goals and 61 points for the Blackhawks, working himself up from a bottom-six role.
There are some expectations that GM Kyle Davidson could ink him to a new contract, but if he ends up in free agency, the Bruins should pounce.
Granlund found himself in discussion as one of the more underrated forwards in the league. He's poured on the points in two seasons with the San Jose Sharks, and has taken well to the new home in Dallas.
With his recent 66-point season, he should be able to leverage that into a nice 4-5 year deal.
Granlund has found himself relied on as a top-line center in San Jose and could fulfill the role that Elias Lindholm hasn't been able to since he arrived in Boston.
