A major turn of events has surfaced in Boston as a recent announcement revealed that a head coach in the organization has left the team.
Ryan Mougenel has been a super solid head coach for the Providence Bruins this year, and the team has a really good chance at winning the Calder Cup this year.
The Providence Bruins currently sit 3rd in the Atlantic Division and have already clinched their spot for the upcoming playoffs this season after having a record of 37-23-5-3.
But a recent announcement from Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold revealed that Mougenel is stepping away from the team.
Bruins Head Coach Stepping Away From The Team
In a heartbreaking announcement today, Evan Gold revealed that Ryan Mougenel will be temporarily stepping away from the Providence Bruins to attend to a family matter.
With that being said, Gold revealed that assistant coach Trent Whitfield will take over as the head coach for the time being.
