A major turn of events has surfaced in Boston as a recent announcement revealed that a head coach in the organization has left the team.
Ryan Mougenel has been a super solid head coach for the Providence Bruins this year, and the team has a really good chance at winning the Calder Cup this year.
The Providence Bruins currently sit
3rd in the Atlantic Division and have already clinched their spot for the upcoming playoffs this season after having a record of 37-23-5-3.
But a recent announcement from Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold revealed that Mougenel is stepping away from the team.

With that being said, Gold revealed that assistant coach Trent Whitfield will take over as the head coach for the time being.
Statement from Evan Gold of the Bruins:
"Providence Bruins Head Coach Ryan Mougenel will be temporarily away from the team to attend to a family matter. Assistant Coach Trent Whitfield will assume head coaching responsibilities in the interim"
This is truly heartbreaking, and everyone here at Bruins Insider hopes that everything is okay with Mougenel's family and he can return to the organization soon.
Our prayers and thoughts are with Mougenel and his family during this time.
