The Boston Bruins organization just received some massive news regarding a top goaltender

The Boston Bruins' AHL team, the Providence Bruins, have been without their fan-favourited net-minder, Michael DiPietro, for some time now.

On March 25, 2025, DiPetro was noted to be absent from the organization's line-up due to an unexplained injury, however, a reporter just revealed the goaltender was facing shots this morning, April 8, with the Providence Bruins.

DiPietro has been an asset to the Boston Bruins organization, especially this year prior to his injury, as the net-minder not only took on the ice to contend in the NHL whilst Jeremy Swayman was recovering from an injury, but there has now also been speculation's involving the 25-year old becoming a replacement for one of the Boston Bruins' current goaltenders, Korpisalo.

In addition, DPietro has been an outstanding within the 2024/25 AHL season thus far, the 25-year old sits at a 2.03 GAA (Goals Against Average), and a .928 SV% (Save Percentage).

Boston Bruins fans can hope that this net-minder returns to peak health for the postseason, as there are only a couple weeks left before the team competes in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
