Troubling News Strikes Brad Marchand And The Florida Panthers And A Recent Announcement Confirmed It

Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers have announced some disheartening news that could affect the postseason, as Sam Bennett will remain out of the lineup for the rest of the season.
The Florida Panthers made huge moves during the trade deadline, and we're not sure if it's going to work out for the reigning champions this year.
Despite adding Brad
Marchand, the team is 1-4-1 in their last six, and the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning have recently passed them in the standings.
In news that is troubling for Panthers fans and
Marchand, his "scumbag" linemate Sam Bennett will likely remain out of the lineup according to Senior Digital Manager Jameson Olive.
Bennett has been a key piece in the Panthers' lineup throughout the regular season, and the idea of missing the playoffs would be a death knell for Marchand's hopes.
Marchand and Bennett have played on Florida's 2nd line, where Bennett slotted in as center until his injury. Now
Anton Lundell has been promoted in his absence in the meantime while Bennett heals up.
Bennett has played 74 games for the Panthers this season, and has scored a total of 50 points (25 goals, 25 assists) and is part of the "scumbag" line with Marchand.
Time will tell whether or not Bennett is ready to go and defend the Panthers' Stanley Cup, but now we're certain Marchand will do his best in his stead.
We're still not used to Marchand wearing a Panthers jersey given their history, but hope for the best during his next post season run with Paul Maurice and his new team.
