David Pastrnak has easily been one of the hottest players in the NHL as of recent, and in an announcement, the NHL ultimately disrespected the Boston Bruins forward.
What David Pastrnak has been doing for the Boston Bruins this season is mind blowing.
Despite being on one of the worst teams in the league this year, Pastrnak has been carrying them. Currently he sits 4th overall in the entire league for scoring with 97 points, 40 of them being goals, and 57 assists in 78 games.
The only players that sit above him right now are Nathan MacKinnon, Nikita Kucherov, and Leon Draisaitl. The difference is that those three players are all on playoff contending teams, where Pastrnak has already been eliminated from the playoffs.
It's been absolutely mind blowing watching David Pastrnak do what he has been doing on such a terrible team this year.
He is the only player that sits in the top 15 in league scoring that is not going to the playoffs this year.
The NHL Ultimately Disrespects Pastrnak In Recent Announcement
Last night, the NHL ended up announcing their three stars of the week for this week, and ultimately ended up disrespecting Pastrnak.
They revealed that the three stars were Ovechkin, Suzuki, and Thomas. Fans were not happy when they realized that Pastrnak was robbed of this honour.
Alex Ovechkin, Nick Suzuki and Robert Thomas have been named the NHL's «Three Stars» presented by GEICO for the week ending April 6.
David Pastrnak literally went 5-6-11 in 4 games ??????
Pastrnak has recorded a point on all 11 goals the Boston Bruins have scored in their past 4 games, and ended up having 5 goals, 6 assists for 11 points in just 4 games.
The fact that he was not honoured for a star of the week is just mind blowing.
