Maple Leafs forward leaves game injured following a big hit from Bruins Nikita Zadorov
Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov is not afraid to throw his body around, and he proved just that tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
One reason the Boston Bruins brought in Nikita Zadorov two free agencies ago was due to his size and the fact he isn't afraid to play on the edge.
That was on full display against the Toronto Maple Leafs during their game on November 8th.

Scott Laughton was appearing in just his second game of the season tonight after being out with an injury.
He received a pass alongside the boards where Zadorov was waiting to throw a huge hit.
Zadorov ended up throwing a massive hit, causing Laughton to leave the game.
Bobby McMann was not a fan of this hit and responded, stepping up for his injured teammate.

Dropping the gloves may not have been the right idea for Zadorov, as it seems like the Leafs got some momentum from it, scoring a power play goal not long after to bring them back within one goal.
At this moment, the Bruins are currently up 4-3 in the second period as they try to extend their winning streak to six games.
