This just in: Boston Bruins will be without Charlie McAvoy tonight after stepping away from the organization.
Entering their game tonight, the
Bruins are going to be hurting following the recent news that just came out.
In their previous game against the Ottawa Senators, the Bruins lost
John Beecher to an injury.
Now some unfortunate news has struck the Bruins ahead of their game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Bruins without McAvoy and Mittelstadt
The Bruins just lost two more players before their game tonight as it was announced that both Charlie McAvoy and
Casey Mittelstadt will not play.
Bruins head coach Marco Sturm confirmed that
McAvoy stepped away from the Bruins, staying home instead of travelling with the team due to a personal matter.
On the other hand, Mittelstadt will not play tonight after suffering an upper-body injury.
Charlie McAvoy is home because of a personal matter. Casey Mittlestadt (upper body) did not travel.
The Bruins were already down
Elias Lindholm, now three more players are added to the list of players not playing tonight.
Boston is currently riding a five-game winning streak but is going to have a tough time defending it tonight after losing all these players.
Prayers are with Charlie McAvoy, as we are unclear what the reasoning is, but hope everything is alright with him.
Prayers to Charlie McAvoy.
