Entering the season, the Boston Bruins are facing a lot of question marks surrounding their roster, but their new fourth line may have just been found.
Today, the Boston Bruins were facing off against the Washington Capitals for their first preseason game of the year.
Although it did not turn out how they anticipated, not everything ended up going wrong for the Bruins.
In the lineup, there was a mix of NHL players, and players looking to make a name for themselves.
The fourth line of Jeffrey Viel, Patrick Brown, and Riley Duran was a really good line for the Bruins, and if they continue to impress, there is a chance the Bruins could enter with them as their starting 4th line.
After being hired by the Boston Bruins, Marco Sturm mentioned that basically every roster spot is going to be up for grabs.

Things did not go well for the Bruins in first preseason game
During their first preseason game, a lot of things went wrong for the Bruins, and it looked like the nightmare from last season was happening on the ice once again.
The Boston Bruins ended up losing 5-2 to the Washington Capitals, but everyone needs to remember this is just preseason, and although it would be nice to see the Bruins play better, these games do not matter.

After a rough first the last two periods were competitive.
The B's will have to fight for everything this season. Not a lot of margin for error.
