The Boston Bruins have an immense amount of work to do before completing their ongoing re-tool, and one area that's still left uncertain is what the organization intends to do with their net-minder scenario.

At this time, the Boston Bruins currently have three NHL level goaltenders on their roster: Jeremy Swayman, Joonas Korpisalo, and Michael DiPietro.

Now, new details have surfaced in the Boston Bruins trading their backup net minder Joonas Korpisalo.

For some time now, the Boston Bruins have been linked to departing with Korpisalo, mostly because this backup net minder expressed his frustrations during the end of last year's campaign about his minimal playing time.

He felt this way for good reason, as this net minder has undoubtedly shown immense skill.

And this preseason is no different.

During yesterday's preseason game against the New York Rangers, Korpisalo proved again that he has value, and defenseman, Nikita Zadorov, wasn't shy to express his gratitude towards this netminder.
