After appearing in just one preseason game, one of the new players Sweeney signed this off-season is standing out already.
Michael Eyssimont was signed to a two-year, $1.45 million deal by the Bruins, and he did not let fans down during his first game.

During his first shift of the game, Eyssimont made his presence felt on the ice by delivering a huge hit.

Eyssimont scores twice, one highlight reel goal
Later on in the game, while trailing 4-1, Eyssimont scored a highlight reel short handed goal to give the Bruins some momentum.
Eyssimont scores short handed here on a beautiful individual effort. And scores again while typing this. Couple his night, and reputation with Beecher's struggles last year and so far this preseason and that competition is all over imo.
He would go on to score another goal to bring the Bruins within one goal, and helped the Bruins comeback from being down 4-1, and win the game 5-4 in OT.
