NHL Community Mourns The Tragic Loss Of Former Longtime Player And Captian

The hockey community is heartbroken by the recent news that has surfaced, revealed that longtime player and captain Toby Chamberlain has passed away earlier this week.

The past couple of weeks has been terrible, and filled with multiple devastating losses in the hockey community and they have been mourning.
It was announced that at just the age of 54 years old, longtime hockey player and captain of the Great Britain team has passed away.
Chamberlain has cementaed his name in a small-hockey world that Great Britain has throughout their 11 year career that saw him suit up for the Bournemouth Stags, Swindon Wildcats, Bracknell Bees, and he went on the international level with his country during the 1988-89 World Junior Championship where he wore the "C" on his chest.
During his career, Toby ended up going to the poastseason four times and hoped to win an Autumn Cup, which is something that is sought-after in the British hockey scene.
After hearing about the passing, his former teammates shared this post:
The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats were saddened to learn of the death of former player Toby Chamberlain earlier this week.
Chamberlain started his hockey career in the early 1980s in his hometown club Bournemouth Stags alongside his brother, Luke. He answered the call of former teammate Daryl Lipsey to join the Wildcats in 1987, featuring in over 100 games for the club as a fan favourite, no-nonsense defenceman.
The club extends their sincerest heartfelt condolences to Toby's family and friends at this sad time.
