The Boston Bruins have underperformed drastically, as they have failed to make the playoffs for the first-time since 2016.

The lack of consistency this year triggered a retool by Don Sweeney whose work isn't done. The lineup is full of players who could be a part of the turnover which began in March.

While we should expect the core of Charlie McAvoy, David Pastrnak, and Jeremy Swayman to remain intact there could be major changes elsewhere soon.

Who are a few Bruins players who could be traded or given their walking papers?

While Jokiharju was picked up during the trade deadline by Don Sweeney, he's played 11 games with the Bruins and hasn't had a huge impact on the team.

He's only scored 1 point in those eleven games, fortunately for the Bruins he only cost a 2026 4th round pick. If he's not willing to budge below his current $3.1 million price tag he could end up walking into free-agency to look for a new contract elsewhere.

While Jeremy Swayman has failed to perform up to expectations this season, Korpisalo has been a bright spot in the lineup. He's had a lower GAA, and his cap hit is only $4 million AAV.

It seems he may never reach the kind of production we've seen in Columbus or Los Angeles, he could find a new home as a backup on a team who could use an affordable backup.

He has a 2.89 GAA, and .893 save percentage which could increase with a better team in front of him.

With Michael DiPietro's ascension into the ranks anticipated he could be another goner in July.
