Joonas Korpisalo to be traded? an insider just confirmed his fate with the Boston Bruins

Joonas Korpisalo has spent the entire 2024-2025 NHL season as a backup to the Bruins' starting goalie,
Jeremy Swayman.
If the Bruins were to explore a trade as part of the ongoing retool, they could utilize the last five games he's played as an example of his ability to rebound in the turmoil of a lost season.
In the last five games, we've seen his production stabilize. During three of those games, he's posted .900, .900, and .938 against the San Jose Sharks, Buffalo Sabres, and Ottawa Senators consecutively.
Should the Bruins trade Korpisalo?
The return for Korpisalo would be higher near the end of the season this year than it was at the beginning of the year.
However, we'd have to explore past transactions to get any kind of idea which teams saw a meager return for the goalie.
Looking back at the trade between the Los Angeles Kings and the Columbus Blue Jackets might be an indication, per
PuckPedia:
The Los Angeles Kings acquired
Vladislav Gavrikov and Joonas Korpisalo from the Columbus Blue Jackets for
Jonathan Quick, conditional 2023 first round pick and 2024 third round pick
It's not entirely unreasonable to expect the Bruins could fetch a third-rounder for Korpisalo based on his production, or maybe even a later pick for the Finnish goalie.
Considering the retool has just begun it's hard to put aside the belief that they wouldn't trade him, but Andrew Raycroft would know more than us.
If I'm
Don Sweeney, I'm stockpiling draft picks to either move up in the draft or exchange a bundle of late picks for a 1st or 2nd round pick.
