We are officially in the final month of the 2024-25 NHL regular season, and an NHL insider has revealed three Boston Bruins players that will not be back with the organization next year.

Because the Boston Bruins are going to miss the NHL playoffs this year, fans saw them take a different route at the trade deadline then they are use to as they were sellers this year, and shipped out some big named players.
It's clear that the Boston Bruins are going to be a very busy team during the off-season this year as Don Sweeney has a lot of work he's gong to have to do.
Some more big changes are going to be coming for the Boston Bruins in the off-season, and an NHL insider has revealed three players that won't be coming back to the organization for the 2025-26 season.
Just how general manager Don Sweeney decides to change things up remains to be seen, but there are going to be roster changes, which happens every off-season. As the Black and Gold continue on their West Coast five-game road trip, here are three players who are beginning their last month in the organization and won't be around for 2025-26.

Three players That Will Not Be Returning

Wotherspoon has been a solid seventh defenseman for the Boston Bruins, but he is getting a lot of playing time due to injuries to Hampus Lindholm, and Charlie McAvoy, but he hasn't been playing well enough to earn another contract with the team.
The 27-year-old defenseman has just one goal, and five assists along with a minus-7 in 43 games with the Boston Bruins this year. Don Sweeney will have to look for a free agent in the off-season to replace him.
The Boston Bruins have a number of bottom-six forwards that do not belong on the roster, and Patrick Brown is one of those players. As of right now, Brown is currently with the Boston Bruins on their road trip, but he doesn't offer the team anything and is taking a roster spot away from young players that could make a difference.
Lettieri is the third player that will not be returning with the Boston Bruins in the off-season as the pending UFA, just like Patrick Brown, is taking away roster spots the Bruins could offer to younger prospects to allow them to see some NHL games.
With the Boston Bruins this year, Lettieri has played just 15 games, and has two goals, with three assists.
Some big changes are coming to the Boston Bruins in the off-season, and it'll be interesting to see what Don Sweeney gets done for the Bruins.
