New insight has unveiled that Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, is set to trade one of the organization's former first-round picks this summer, and it's surprising.
While the
Boston Bruins are currently in the midst of re-tooling their organization, in hopes to break their postseason absence, their training camp begins just next month at Warrior Ice Arena.
That said, the Bruins' offseason additions thus far have been, arguably, underwhelming, as they don't scream extreme contenders.
There is still time to make some additions to the roster to fill up some lacking areas, but it won't be easy, and if the organization decides to do so through trade, they will need to move a player to open a spot for another.

To make an impactful trade, Sweeney may have to part ways with one or two prospects, and there are some prospects that the Bruins have that teams would undoubtedly be interested in.

John Beecher, who re-signed with the Boston Bruins over the summer to a one-year contract, has been speculated to become a trade asset for the organization.
Beecher is another bottom-six forward who's future with the Black and Gold is still uncertain, and despite being a first-round pick in the 2019 Entry Draft, he fits the mold of too many bottom-six players on the roster.
