A recent report has announced a controversial statement regarding the Boston Bruins organization, and it has caused a major stir.

It has undoubtedly been a busy offseason for NHL teams, especially due to the fact many organizations are seeking to steal the Stanley Cup from the Florida Panthers after they've claimed in for their second straight.
Additionally, it was also a very busy season in terms of Quarter Century Mount Rushmores to be discussed.
With that being, a controversial decision was made regarding one of the Boston Bruins' 2011 Stanley Cup champion, and now, it has caused a major stir.

Backbone to the Boston Bruins' 2011 Stanley Cup Championship team has been rejected from the team's Quarter Century Mount Rushmore

When dissecting the Boston Bruins Quarter Century Mount Rushmore, some players can undoubtedly be debated, while some others should feel snubbed.
Lyle Richardson of Bleacher Report released his own Boston Bruins Quarter Century Mount Rushmore, and once again, there was an evident exclusion that should receive praise.

Bleacher Report excludes 2011 Stanley Cup Champion in Boston Bruins Quarter Century Mount Rushmore who deserves praise

Lyle Richardson released his Bruins Quarter Century Mount Rushmore.
These players were:
«Patrice Bergeron, Center
Zdeno Chára, Defense
David Pastrňák, Right Wing
Brad Marchand, Left Wing»

While all of these players are impeccable ones, it is evident that there is a gabbing hole in this list.
Additionally, Marchand, Bergeron, and Chara are all players who should be on the Mount Rushmore, yet Pastrnak can certainly be debated.
Although Pastrnak is deserving, some have argued that an alternative individual is much more appropriate.
That player being the Boston Bruins former net-minder, Tim Thomas.
Thomas was undoubtedly the backbone to the Black and Gold's 2011 Stanley Cup run and win over the Vancouver Canuks in seven games.
To add, Thomas's numbers and awards have back up why he is more deserving.
Thomas won two Vezina Trophies, one Jennings Trophy, and one Conn Smythe Trophy while being a four-time All-Star and two-time NHL First Team.
And let's not forget his 2011 run in the Stanley Cup Final
Pastrnak is a great player and will undoubtedly make the Boston Bruins' next Quarter Century Mount Rushmore, but leaving Thomas excluded feels like a snub that was completely overlooked.
Do you think Tim Thomas should have replaced David Pastrnak on the Quarter Century Mount Rushmore?
