A new report has just confirmed that a key Bruins player is going to miss some significant amount of time.

During their most recent game, the Boston Bruins ended up getting back in the win column after losing their seven-game winning streak to the Ottawa Senators.
The Bruins ended up defeating the Montreal Canadiens in their first matchup of the season, but it came at a cost.
Boston ended up losing two key players in the loss, and now it was confirmed that one is going to miss some time.
Charlie McAvoy suffered a gruesome injury whenever he took a slapshot to the face from defenseman Noah Dobson.
It was a scary scene, and there is speculation that he is going to be out for a good amount of time as well.
But according to head coach Marco Sturm, Viktor Arvidsson, who has been a key player for the Bruins in the top six, is going to miss a good amount of time as well.

Arvidsson to be out for a while

In the Bruins' 3-2 win over the Canadiens, Arvidsson played a big role for the Bruins and ended up scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the second period.
Unfortunately, he ended up suffering a lower-body injury in the third-period game with just over 5 minutes remaining in the game, causing him to leave the game and not return.
After the game, head coach Marco Sturm confirmed that he is going to be out for some time, but they aren't sure how long at this moment.
"He will be out," Sturm said about Arvidsson to WEEI. "Lower-body. I don't know how long, but we're going to have to wait and see.

The Bruins are already struggling with injuries, with Elias Lindholm and Casey Mittelstadt being sidelined week-to-week, and this just adds to it.
In 20 games for the Bruins this season, Arvidsson has six goals and four assists for 10 points but recently has been rolling for the Bruins.
