Ron MacLean Just Made A Massive Announcement Involving A Former Boston Bruins Fan Favourite

Recently, Ron MacLean of Sportsnet made a massive announcement regarding former Boston Bruins fan favourite forward Blake Wheeler.
After the 2022-23 season, the Winnipeg Jets ended up buying out longtime captain Blake Wheeler of the organization, and he ended up signing a one-year deal with the Rangers to try and win a Stanley Cup.
It didn't go so well, and ahead of the 2024-25 season, Wheeler decided it was time to hang up the skates and call it a career. He admitted that he didn't want to deal with the emotional ups, and downs of the NHL season anymore, and with the how the Rangers ended the year, he definitely made the right choice.
Massive Announcement Regarding Wheeler
On May 10th, Ron MacLean confirmed that ex-Boston Bruins fan favourite Blake Wheeler is going to be joining the Hockey Night in Canada panel, but will only be on there as an analyst for three nights.
On Sunday night whenever the Maple Leafs and Panthers played game 4, he ended up making his first appearance on the show.
Ron MacLean just mentioned that Blake Wheeler will be on the Hockey Night in Canada panel for the next 3 nights
It's becoming more common that former coaches and players take part of being on the panels and give their outlooks on games, and it's definitely enjoyable for fans.
Blake Wheeler ended his NHL career after 16 seasons, where he managed to tally a total of 321 goals and 943 points in 1172 games split between the Boston Bruins, Atlanta Thrashers, Winnipeg Jets and New York Rangers.
