Following a brutal 2024/25 NHL season that left the Boston Bruins with no sight of postseason contention as they headed into the league's basement, the organization is in dire need to flip the script this summer to put their re-tool in full swing.
To start things off, the team's re-tool is in desperate need to consist of impactful forwards such as the Florida Panthers' Sam Bennett.
The 28-year old center, Sam Bennett, is expected to hit free agency this offseason, and if that happens, he is undoubtedly going to be a player in high demand, and the Bruins organization has already been linked to acquiring this forward.
However, a recent report by a trusted NHL insider has just revealed the Boston Bruins are most likely going to miss out on Bennett, as the Panther has narrowed down his free agency list.
