The 2025 NHL Entry Draft is coming up, and according to multiple reports, the Boston Bruins have been linked to a gritty, Sam Bennett type of player who perfectly fits the Bruins dynamic.
Due to the Boston Bruins having a terrible 2024-25 season, and missing the NHL playoffs, they ended up landing the
seventh overall pick in the upcoming draft, and there is a good chance they get a very good prospect with that pick.
Bruins Linked To A Gritty Forward
The prospect in name is 6-foot 174-pond center Brady Martin.
Recently he spoke to reporters at the combine, including Cam Robinson of the Elite Prospects, and
Martin did confirm that the Boston Bruins were one of the teams that ended up taking him out for dinner.
Along with the Bruins, the Philadelphia Flyers, Utah Mammoth, and Nashville Predators ended up taking him out as well.
Brady Martin: "I look up to Sam Bennett, Tom Wilson, and Matthew Knies"
Boston, Philly, Utah and Nashville took him out for dinner this week.
The 18-year-old ended up having a break out year with the Soo Greyhounds in the OHL this year scoring new highs in goals with 33, assists with 39, and points with 72 in 57 games.
Not only is he solid offensively, but he plays with an edge and tenacity. Acquiring someone like him would be huge for the Boston Bruins as he fits their dynamic perfectly while being able to perform offensively.
