With the Toronto Maple Leafs officially out of the playoffs, there are a lot of rumours surrounding Mitch Marner and his future with the Leafs organization. With that being said, he has officially been linked to the Bruins and they are a top landing destination for him.

Once again the Maple Leafs were not able to live up to the pressure in the playoffs, and it resulted in another early exit for the organization. Everyone now knows that change is going to be coming for the Leafs this off-season.
Marner's future with the Maple Leafs is still uncertain, but after the comments Marner made during the Leafs end of year press conference, it's almost certain that he will not be returning for another year wearing the Maple Leaf.
Many analysts around the league have the same feeling that he has played his final game with the Blue and White.
With July 1st not far away there is some speculation where he may end up in free agency, and NHL Trade Rumor revealed three top landing spots for the star forward.

Bruins Emerge As A Top Landing Spot For Mitch Marner

The Boston Bruins emerge as a top landing, but NHL Trade Rumor also linked him to the Carolina Hurricanes and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Boston and Pittsburgh are currently in similar stages right now, both going through a retool to try and get back into the playoffs for another run, but the advantage the Penguins hold over the Bruins is Marner's connection to Kyle Dubas.
Here is what NHL Trade Rumor's had to say about the Bruins landing Marner:
Then there's the Boston Bruins. While Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci are no longer in the picture, the Bruins, spearheaded by the electrifying David Pastrnak and the stalwart Charlie McAvoy, are determined to remain competitive. They possess a projected $27.1 million in cap space and with 13 roster spots currently filled, they have significant flexibility to make a major acquisition. The prospect of Marner skating on a line with Pastrnak is tantalizing. Pastrnak's lethal shot combined with Marner's exceptional vision and passing could easily elevate Marner into the 100-point club. The Bruins are hungry to prove they can still contend, and adding a talent like Marner would send a clear message to the rest of the league. They won't be shy about opening the vault to secure his services.

Marner has been linked to the Bruins quite a bit, but these are all rumours. It will be interesting to see where he officially signs in the off-season.
