After their loss to the New York Rangers on Thursday night, two specific Boston Bruins players were blamed for their loss.
Bruins Network took to social media yesterday to call out both Jeremy Swayman and Mason Lohrei for the Boston Bruins loss to the New York Rangers.
Lohrei had a really tough game, giving up quite a few odd-man rushes early on in the game, and Jeremy Swayman allowed some soft goals to go in during their game vs the Rangers.
But, Bruins Network did also mention they aren't the only reason the Bruins ended up losing this game. The Bruins have had a serious lack of urgency and finishing on their team and it's haunting them, especially against a team like the Rangers who have been one of the worst teams in the league for awhile now.
From Bruins Network:
The New York Rangers sat dead last in the Metropolitan Division entering their game vs the Bruins, and are 3-7-0 in their last 10 games, this is a must win game for the Bruins and they somehow could not find a way to get it done.
Although Johnathan Quick made some big saves for the Bruins, they need to find a way to get a couple past him, especially with the type of players the Bruins have on their team.
The current roster the Bruins have is definitely not a contending team, and Don Sweeney needs to make some big changes if the Burins want to go on a deep playoff run.
