Brad Marchand's Fate With The Florida Panthers Was Just Confirmed

Brad Marchand is now a part of the Florida Panthers organization, and now an insider revealed his fate with them moving forward after this season.
Don Sweeney decided to make some big changes for the Boston Bruins during the NHL trade deadline this year trading some big named players, but none as big as Brad Marchand.
Brad Marchand was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins during the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, and has spent his entire career with the Boston Bruins before he ended up getting traded.
The Bruins and Marchand could not agree on a contract leading up to the NHL trade deadline, ultimately leading to him being traded.
Now Marchand is expected to be a unrestricted free agent this upcoming off-season and his fate with the Panthers organization has been revealed.
Marchand's fate with the Florida Panthers
According to NHL trade rumors the Florida Panthers are set to move on from three players during the off-season and Brad Marchand is reportedly set to be one.
Brad Marchand was brought over by Florida in a late trade deadline deal and he is going to be very impactful for the defending Stanley Cup champions. That being said, he is on the books at a reduced price and there are a lot of forwards signed to big deals. The team also has to worry about re-signing Sam Bennett as he has been there longer and is younger. Marchand is likely just a rental here and will see what options he has in the offseason as he deserves more money than he has gotten on all of his contracts throughout his career.
The other two players that are set to leave the Florida Panthers in the off-season is Aaron Ekblad, and Vitek Vanecek.
