It appears that Florida Panthers forward, Matthew Tkachuk's injury is so bad, to the point where many believe that he will not see any ice-time during the 2026 Olympics, and he will not be dressing for Team USA.

During the Four-Nations, the Tkachuk brothers proved that they are some of the most annoying players in the NHL.

Even after antagonizing Canadian players, Team USA ultimately lost to them in the Finals.

With the latest report on Tkachuk, they are going to be at a disadvantage come the Olympics as it was stated that Tkachuk will not be suiting up for Team USA this season.

Nick Kypreos reported that his injuries are going to keep the two-time Stanley Cup Champion off the ice long-term.

Reports suggested that there is a good chance that he may be out past Christmas, and the Panthers may place him on LTIR.

If the Panthers do place him on LTIR, it gives them the chance to make some moves while not affecting their cap, as his cap hit will be off the books.

Tkachuk played a big role for in the Panthers winning their back-to-back Stanley Cups, and having him out long-term next year will be devastating to the organization.
