Former Boston Bruins fan favourite forward A.J. Greer was just hit with some more unfortunate news ahead of game two of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Leading up to game one of the Stanley Cup Finals, Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice revealed that A.J. Greer was not going to be in the lineup.
A.J. Greer won't play Game 1 for Panthers. Jesper Boqvist draws in.
This was a big loss for them, and it showed as the Edmonton Oilers ended up dominating the Panthers.
The final score may not say so, but the Oilers were all over the Panthers, and ended up winning the game 4-3 in overtime.
Now leading up to game two, the Panthers received some more bad news.

Greer Will Not Play In Game 2

Ahead of game two tonight, Paul Maurice stated that Greer is still healthy enough to slot back into the lineup for the Panthers.
A.J. Greer won't play Game 2 but could play Game 3, per Paul Maurice.
One big bonus is that Maurice stated he is currently on track to make it back into the lineup for game 3, which would be huge for the Panthers.
A.J. Greer is "on track to play Game 3," per Paul Maurice, but he won't be in the #FlaPanthers lineup tonight.
Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m. ET tonight as Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers look to tie up the series at 1 a piece.
