Boston Bruins rival the Toronto Maple Leafs have announced a firing from their coaching staff today following recent announcement.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced a firing today from their coaching staff. Assistant coach Guy Boucher has parted ways from the organization.
The Maple Leafs announced on social media today that after one season with the Toronto Maple Leafs Guy Boucher will no longer be apart of the organization.
Everyone knew there were going to be some big changes coming out of the Leafs organization following another early exit from the post-season. The Leafs started off by firing Sheldon Keefe and now have continued by getting rid of Guy Boucher.
"The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that assistant coach Guy Boucher will not return to the coaching staff." The Maple Leafs' PR account said on X.
A lot of people blame the Maple Leafs power play for being the reason they lost to the Boston Bruins in the playoffs this year as they went an embarrassing 1-21 on the power play during their 7 game series vs the Boston Bruins.
