Ex-Boston Bruins Head Coach Trending After Putting NHL Officials On Blast Following Game 2 Loss

During game 2, the Vegas Golden Knights got screwed over by the officials after a missed tripping call changed the outcome of the game, and Bruce Cassidy did not hold back after the game, putting the NHL officials on blast.
The Vegas Golden Knights are not sitting in a good spot during the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and are currently down 2-0 in the series with one of their rivals in the Edmonton Oilers.
Recently they were on the short end of a terrible call. Game 2 ended in overtime just moments after the officials on the ice missed an obvious trip on forward Viktor Arvidsson.
The play happened right in front of the officials, and somehow it went uncalled. This ended up resulting in Leon Draisaitl calling game just moments after it happened, and Bruce Cassidy was not happy about it after teh game.
Bruce Cassidy Puts NHL Officials On Blast For Missed Call
The referee is looking at it, He blew it. He missed the call. I don't know what else to say. It's a can opener. It's a dangerous play. It's all those things.
In his post game comments, Cassidy criticized the officials, stating that they simply got the call wrong and it ended up leading to them losing the game. Head coaches need to be careful, as Bettman protects his officials from everything, and simply just saying how bad they are can result in being fined.
The officials have been terrible, and it seems like they are just getting worse, and worse as time goes on, but they are never held accountable. This missed call could have just changed the entire outcome of the series for former Boston Bruins head coach.
Now the series shifts back to Edmonton where the Golden Knights will have to try and comeback from being down 2-0.
