A big brawl broke out between the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers after a huge hit was thrown.
Boston Bruins forward Trevor Kuntar was coming down the middle with the puck, attempting to get a shot off, and got caught with a big open ice hit.
Kuntar was not a fan of the hit and a big scrum followed.
Will Cuylle gets his revenge on Trevor Kuntar with a big, clean hit in open ice. Kuntar shares a few words with him on the way back to bench.
Earlier in the game Trevor Kuntar was seen throwing multiple cross-checks to Will Cuylle's back while he was digging for a puck in the Boston Bruins crease, and Cuylle got his revenge by catching Kuntar in open ice with a big hit.
Context for the "revenge"
The Boston Bruins dressed some of their big guns for the game, looking to beat the Rangers after losing to them in their preseason opener, but that didn't change things.
The Boston Bruins would go on to lose to the New York Rangers 5-2.
