Bad News Regarding Tuukka Rask.
The Boston Bruins left a very important point on the board last night as they lost to the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime.
Despite the loss it was a pretty solid performance by goalie Dan Vladar who was thrown between the pipes after Jaroslav Halak was forced into COVID protocol.
It's yet to be revealed if it's because he had a positive, false positive or is a possible close contact.
His status for today is uncertain so it raises the question, what about Tuukka Rask?
Rask has been sidelined with a reported back injury and it's not looking like he'll be back anytime soon.
"Just hasn't responded as well as anybody likes," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. "Sometimes when you're given a definitive, 'Hey, this guy is out for X amount of time where he had surgery,' or this or that, it's a little easier to put behind you. But when it's kind of a day-to-day thing where a player's here getting treatment, then you ask a little more."
As of right now it doesn't sound like we'll be getting Rask back anytime soon.
