There's not much more this 2022-23 Boston Bruins team can accomplish, except for a Stanley Cup, of course.
The club has matched or broken several league records, but the 7-1 win over the Sabres on Thursday night set the most impressive one yet.
As per NHL Public Relations:
* The Bruins (48-8-5, 101 points) became the fastest team in NHL history to reach the 100-point mark in a season, besting the 1976-77 Canadiens (62 GP).
We all know that the ultimate goal is the Cup, as always, but what this team has already accomplished is amazing. No matter what happens this year, we're all witnessing a special team play.
The Bruins are now 49-8-5, have a 15 point gap on the second place Hurricanes in the East, as well as 19 point lead on the Maple Leafs for the Atlantic Division lead.
