The Boston Bruins were nominated for a couple of NHL Awards on Wednesday night. Of course like clockwork, Patrice Bergeron was nominated for another Frank JSelke award along with Don Sweeney nominated for GM of the Year. Sweeney had some tough competition up against DougArmstrong of the Stanley Cup Champ St. Louis Blues and Don Waddell of the Carolina Hurricanes. The Bruins GM walked away the winner though for a job well done. It's well deserved as the Bruins have made the playoffs three years in a row despite battling lots of injury issues. Congrats Sweeney!
