If you want to talk about a season where absolutely everything could go wrong for a player, you can just look at Jake DeBrusk's 2021 season.
Unfortunately it's taken another tough blow.
Boston Bruins' head coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters this morning that DeBrusk has found himself in COVID-19 protocol.
That means that DeBrusk won't be playing in today's matinee game against the New York Rangers.
Cassidy said the team was hoping it was a false positive, but unfortunately it wasn't and he'll now be sidelined indefinitely.
After being a healthy scratch this week, DeBrusk showed up and scored his first goal in almost a month however now he'll be sidelined again.
