The Boston Bruins got a nice shut out win last night as they took down the New York Rangers 4-0.
Not only did the Bruins bounce back after two straight losses, forward Jake DeBrusk finally got himself back on the score sheet.
The struggling forward finally scored his second goal of the season which happened almost a month ago on February 18.
While it seems that DeBrusk answered the bell for head coach Bruce Cassidy, it really doesn't mean that DeBrusk has answered the bell for general manager Don Sweeney.
DeBrusk is still on the trade block and could be headed out west.
Craig Custance and Eric Duhastchek point to the Bruins-Ducks already established trade history and believe a DeBrusk for
Rickard Rakell swap could be on the table.
The Ducks are no longer interested in draft picks and want young roster players in the 24-27 age range.
Rakell has an extra year on his deal that carries a $3.78million cap hit before he becomes UFA during the summer of 2022. DeBrusk of course has another year left at $3.675million but will stay in team control as a restricted free agent with arbitration rights.
Would you swap DeBrusk for Rakell?
