As speculation grew, the Boston Bruins forward has confirmed the news himself.
Bruins forward David Krejci is leaving the Bruins and NHL to head back home to the Czech Republic.
Through an open letter today Krejci revealed the news saying it was a family decision so his children could grow up experiencing the same things he did growing up.
Krejci had become UFA this offseason and while reports indicated he re-signed, he went radio silent and ending up walking away.
