A tough loss for the Boston Bruins in Game 5 and a tough loss for the Bruins the day after.
Just a couple of minutes after the league announced that Bruins' head coach Bruce Cassidy had been fined for criticizing the referees, now Bruins' forward Nick Ritchie is in a bit of trouble.
The NHL Department of Player Safety has reviewed Ritchie's elbow last night on New York Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield and handed down a punishment.
RItchie has been fined $5k for the elbow.
