USA's Hilary Knight makes World Championship history

Hilary Knight is already one of the United States' most decorated hockey players ever, and today, she added to her impressive resume!
Including the Olympics, World Championships, Four Nations Cup, Rivalry Series and many more, Knight has represented Team USA in a total of 197 games. She has also recorded an impressive 132 goals and 97 assists over that span.
The veteran forward has won Olympic gold once (2018) and silver three times (2010, 2014, 2022). At the World Championships, Knight has represented her country 11 times (8 gold and 3 silver).
Earlier today, the decorated athlete made history in a 12-1 win over Hungary. Knight had a goal and an assist for her 86th and 87th career points to pass Canada's Hayley Wickenheiser for the most points ever at the World Championships.
In a crazy twist, Knight had an assist taken away in the second period, but it didn't matter because she scored early in the third period to make it 11-0, which was her record-breaking 87th point.
