Bruce Cassidy Issues Update On Lee Stempniak.

The Boston Bruins signed Lee Stempniak to a PTO before their trip to China.�

Many thought the former Bruin would be able to make his way onto the roster, however Stempniak remains on his PTO.�

The interesting part is that Stempniak continues to practice with the Bruins as he's stated he would prefer to sign in Boston than look after other opportunities.�

Head coach Bruce Cassidy gave an update regarding the situation on Tuesday and he says it's not like Stempniak will be signed anytime soon.�

It's an interesting decision considering Cassidy has said the 12th and 13th forward spots still haven't really been decided yet.�

In any case, it doesn't look like Stempniak is part of that battle anymore.�
