Bruins' Foligno getting ready for historical night

While he's only suited up in 42 regular season games with Boston, Nick Foligno is everything you look for in a Bruins player.
The 34-year-old not only brings a lot of leadership to the B's, but he can do it all on the ice; he can score goals, he can play a shutdown game and he can drop the mitts!
Tonight, the winger will be reaching a career milestone that most NHLers can only dream of. Foligno will be playing in the 1000th regular season game of his career against the Blackhawks.
A first round draft pick of the Senators in 2006, Foligno spent the first five seasons and first 351 games of his career with Ottawa. He spent the next nine years and 599 games playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team he captained during his last five six years.
The Buffalo native was then traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs at last year's deadline, playing seven season games for the Leafs before eventually signing with the B's in the off-season.
