Former Bruin and Mass. native Ryan Donato inks new NHL deal

Ryan Donato was born in Scituate, Massachusetts, as his dad Ted, was a longtime Boston Bruins players.
He was selected in the second round (54th overall) by the Bruins at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Donato had high expectations coming out of NCAA but hasn't quite lived up them to an extent as he's bounced around the league.
In 254 career games, he's dressed with the Bruins, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks and now the Seattle Kraken.
Today, Donato signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Kraken after one season with the club.
The 26-year-old has 51 goals and 57 assists in his young NHL career.
