The crew at Spittin' Chiclets weighed in on the Boston Bruins and the firing of head coach Bruce Cassidy.
Massachusetts native and former NHL player Ryan Whitney made one massive statement about the situation:
"I cannot believe Don Sweeney still has a job. It shocks me that he still has a job."
Whitney went on to discuss how he wasn't surprised about the Cassidy firing because it was well known in the hockey community that the Bruins players "hated" their head coach.
He noted how general manager Don Sweeney hasn't actually done anything for the Bruins organization since he was hired but screwed them over, mainly in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
