The Boston Bruins got back on the winning side of things last night with a 4-2 win against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Surprise, surprise as forwards
Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron basically put the team on their back once again.
The need has been there for years and continues to be there that the team needs help outside of those two.
We've heard that the B's have been linked to New Jersey Devils forward
Kyle Palmieri going back to last year and it seems something bigger might be brewing at the moment.
According to Bruins' insider Joe Haggerty, a trade is brewing that would send both Palmieri and defenseman
Dmitry Kulikov to the B's addressing their top six forward and defensive depth needs.
At the minimum a first round pick and a top forward prospect would be going the other way.
Both players will be UFA after the season however with Palmieri's $4.65million cap hit on the season a roster player would likely have to go back or some salary retained.
Kulikov carries a $1.15million cap hit on the season.
Do you think they would be a good fits for the B's?
